Eyebrow Lift before and after
How does an eyebrow lift work?
There are muscles around the eyes that determine the position of our eyebrows. Over time, eyebrows may descend lower on the forehead as one muscle pulls them downward. Muscle relaxers are injected into this muscle to lift the eyebrows. Initially, a practitioner will assess your face and mark the skin if necessary.
Then, the muscle relaxer is injected into the skin, causing the muscle to relax and the eyebrows to sit higher on the forehead. If you suffer from drooping upper eyelids, an upper eyelid correction may offer a permanent solution. During the procedure, a plastic surgeon removes excess skin, reducing the burden on your eyelids. This results in a refreshed and revitalized appearance in the long run!

Result of Eyebrow Lift
The result of an eyebrow lift is optimal after 2 weeks, so always wait for this period. The muscle relaxer has lifted the eyebrows by a few millimeters, causing them to sit higher on the forehead. Additionally, it’s possible that the upper eyelids are lifted as well, reducing pressure on your eyes and alleviating physical discomfort. Plastic surgery isn’t necessary for an eyebrow lift, but it may be if you prefer not to undergo repeat treatments.
Moreover, there’s no long recovery time with an eyebrow lift, and you don’t need general anesthesia. If you’re dissatisfied after the 2-week period, you’re welcome for a follow-up appointment. This appointment takes place within 2 to 4 weeks after the treatment with the same practitioner. The effect of the eyebrow lift will last approximately 3 months. This treatment is sometimes combined with crow’s feet treatment to lift both above and beside the eyes. The practitioner can provide you with more information on this.
Eyebrow Lift Aftercare
After an eyebrow lift with muscle relaxers, you’re free to move the injected area. However, be cautious not to massage or rub the injected area for the first 48 hours after treatment unless advised by the practitioner. Additionally, you may experience bruising or swelling after treatment.
Bruising can be concealed with makeup several hours after treatment once the injection sites are closed. Furthermore, refrain from exercising for 48 hours after treatment and avoid saunas or sunbeds for 2 weeks post-treatment. UV exposure can make the skin more sensitive, affecting the outcome of the treatment.
